Although the OnePlus 5 smartphone may not have been as popular as its predecessor, It still has proven itself to be a steady Android phone that is loved by many. Not only does it bring along flagship specs, it also comes with a remarkably low price tag.
Just like OnePlus did with their OnePlus 3T smartphone, that got released only five months after its predecessor the OnePlus 3, the Chinese smartphone company is already readying up to launch their next Android phone – the OnePlus 5T. This latest Android phone by OnePlus is expected to be available later this year. Rumor has it that the company is about to launch a new phone with roughly the same specifications, however, a very different (bezel-less) design.

OnePlus 5T Android Phone
The original OnePlus 5 smartphone looked slightly different than the previous T3, however, it still featured a pretty generic design. A regular metal back cover and glass front with a fingerprint scanner and large bezels around its 5.5-Inch display. Not really a design that makes the phone stand out.
With the OnePlus 5T, however, the Chinese smartphone company is trying to go a different direction. OnePlus is following the latest smartphone trends and has introduced its latest Android phone to a crisp bezel-less display. It is expected that this screen will be 6-Inches in size with a 2:1 aspect ratio and stunning 2160x1080p resolution.
Because of its infinity display, OnePlus has decided to move the fingerprint scanner to the rear of the phone – placing it just above their logo. Besides the newly placed fingerprint scanner, the rear of the phone is not expected to look any different than that of the OnePlus 5. It will feature a full-metal rear cover (meaning no wireless charging) that features the standard logo and a Dual-Lens rear camera.
With respect to its specifications, we can state that the OnePlus 5T will, aside from its larger 6-Inch bezel-less display, be similar to its predecessor. The phone will feature a Snapdragon 835 processor along with 8GB of RAM. Additionally, it will support either 64GB or 128GB ROM and it comes with a 3300mAh battery as well as a Dual-Rear camera. The latter has, however, gone through some changes. According to the latest rumors, the camera of the OnePlus 5T will come with two 20MP sensors and upgraded lenses compared to the OnePlus 5. Finally, it is worth mentioning that their latest Android phone will come with a headphone jack.

Regarding the operating system, it is safe to state that the OnePlus 5T will run on Android 8.0 Oreo. We should, however, not expect any drastic changes to the overall user interface of the smartphone as we all know that OnePlus likes to stay close to the basic Android features. Nevertheless, the OnePlus 5T will be a fast and sleek smartphone that besides delivering a great performance will also look beautiful to the eye.
